Hi everyone! Hola a todos!

My name is Jana in Czech, but you can call me Jane or Juana – I respond to any.

I’ve been a language teacher for 25 years and am the founder and CEO of the language school Teaching.CZ. Initially, it was just a hobby, but then it became my full-time job. I built a reputation in my hometown as there were almost no language courses available 25 years ago, and I was a pioneer. The school expanded, and currently, I oversee a team of 13 other teachers who teach Spanish, English, and German in over 100 courses per week.

About 26 years ago, I stumbled into English and fell head over heels for it. While studying in a local grammar school, my teacher encouraged me to privately teach younger students the basics. That was when I realized that I loved sharing my knowledge with others, and I felt like I had found my purpose. After my graduation, I continued studying English and completed an intensive course by Cambridge and the state exams. Immediately after these exams, I became an entrepreneur and opened my language school. Within two years, my schedule was full.

At that time, I came across Spanish and started studying with native speakers. It became my new passion, and I discovered that I loved it so much that I wanted to teach Spanish too.

After spending a lot of time sitting down in my office, I realized that I needed to incorporate movement into my teaching routine and academic life. I adore music (I dance everywhere and whenever I hear music playing) and sports, so I decided to professionally combine them and pursue a fitness instructor career. I have taught aerobics and Zumba, and now I teach fitness dance. Within the last seven years, I have also studied a Bach essence therapy course, The Homoeopathic Academy, and professional coaching in an MBA program with the IES London.

I’m not just a student, a businesswoman, a teacher, a mentor, and a leader; I’m also a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a mother. I come from a big family; I have a twin sister and two older sisters! I’m married and have two daughters: Diana, who is 16, and Klaudie, who is 10. We enjoy having get-togethers and celebrating life, and my family is my number one priority.

I cannot imagine my life without my family, friends, good food, sports, music, traveling, and nature!
