My name is Alena and I was born in 1985 in Košice, Slovakia.

After graduating from the University of Education, I moved to the United Kingdom.

I spent 12 years in a city called Brighton and here I worked in various roles which enabled me to continue improving not only my language skills but also my knowledge. Furthermore, I also studied in Brighton where I gained an Oxford Certificate in English.

In the last 8 years I worked in a Nursery School as a Deputy Room Leader where we mainly focused on EYFS – standards for the learning, development and care of child from birth to 5 years old.

While I was in the UK I met my partner Lukas and shortly after having our little boy David we decided to relocate to Lukas’ home town Litvínov. In between settling into our new home I was fortunate enough to find a job in AMA School.

I enjoy nature walks with my family and our dog Mylo; I also enjoy gardening, reading and travelling.
